据香港电台网站消息，香港民政及青年事务局局长麦美娟表示，昨日（11月27日）成立的“大埔宏福苑援助基金”，截至28日下午5时，共收到5亿港元来自各界的捐款，连同政府投入3亿港元的启动资金，基金至今约有8亿港元。
