11月27日，中国船舶集团有限公司旗下广船国际有限公司与新西兰FHL（Ferry Holdings）公司签署2艘新型客滚船建造合同。据了解，这2艘船船长200米、宽28米，可容纳1530名乘客，配备2.4公里长混合车道和40节铁路货车的运载空间，建成交付后主要用于库克海峡的航线运营。
