记者从北京市园林绿化局获悉：截至目前，北京彩叶树种种植面积近278万亩。
2015年，北京启动“增彩延绿科技创新工程”，经过多年努力，完成85种新优乡土植物优株筛选、培育和快繁技术攻关，筛选保存优良种质资源千余份，规模化繁育高品质增彩延绿苗木超过150万株。(记者潘俊强)
