北京时间11月21日，欧塞尔的赞助商犀旺发布消息称魏祥鑫即将与欧塞尔签约，但随后这条消息被删除。
魏祥鑫今年 17 岁，目前效力于梅州客家俱乐部。今年 4 月，他曾赴法甲欧塞尔队进行试训。
此前，他被英国媒体《卫报》列入2025年度全球60大最具潜力新星榜单，成为唯一一位上榜的中国球员。
