11月20日，十五运会田径男子4x100米决赛，36岁的苏炳添再度站上赛场，代表广东跑第一棒。最终，广东队收获第四名。“每个人都有青春年华，但我已不再青春了。”赛后，苏炳添表示，坚持到现在，就是为了重回赛场，和大家好好说声再见。
