据上海机场集团，11月5日，在第八届进博会举行首日，上海机场旗下物流公司与前来参加进博会的意大利地中海航空货运集团MSC Air Cargo签署战略合作备忘录。根据合作计划，MSC Air Cargo未来将以上海为亚太核心枢纽，在浦东机场运营连接中国与欧美市场的洲际货运长航线，构建更加高效的国际航空物流体系。
