据央视新闻消息，前三季度，通信业整体运行平稳。电信业务量收入稳定增长，5G、千兆、物联网等网络基础设施建设持续推进，连接用户规模稳步扩大，移动互联网接入流量较快增长。
截至9月末，5G基站总数达470.5万个，比上年末净增45.5万个，占移动基站总数的36.6%，占比较上半年提高0.9个百分点。
