使用电热毯时，不宜直接与人体皮肤接触。电热毯的发热部件为金属管，这些金属管如果直接与人体接触很容易导致受热不均，使人体皮肤局部的温度增加，再加上很多人都会选择彻夜开着电热毯，这样会增加烫伤和身体不适的概率。可在电热毯上铺一层床单或薄褥子。
