据江苏省地质调查研究院消息，勘查团队耗时四年，深耕溧水盆地锶矿勘查，新发现1处大型锶矿床。经矿产资源储量评审，该锶矿（天青石）矿石推断资源量达545.55千吨，矿物量达265.40千吨，平均品位为48.65%。
锶，作为重要的稀有金属，广泛应用于特种陶瓷材料、磁性合金制造业等领域，对于国家的工业发展和科技进步具有重要作用。
