中国地震台网正式测定，10月17日7时3分菲律宾群岛地区（北纬9.85度，东经126.25度）发生6.0级地震，震源深度20千米。
视频监控画面显示，当地时间17日7时6分左右，菲律宾锡亚高岛附近震感明显。此外，受地震影响，菲律宾北苏里高省附近多个市镇宣布停课。（总台记者 黄铮铮）
