全球最大海上钻井船东Valaris宣布，该公司已与全球石油巨头BP旗下子公司就“Valaris DS-12”号钻井船签订租船合同。
根据合同，“Valaris DS-12”号将在埃及为Bp Exploration Delta Limited钻探五口井，施工预计将于2026年第二季度开始，预计持续350天。该合同总价值（含调遣费）约1.4亿美元，另含三口井选择权。
Valaris表示：“此项合同标志着公司持续推进商业战略，目前所有四艘近期可调配的钻井船均已签约。未来公司预期将为高规格钻井船争取更多优质项目。”
公开资料显示，“Valaris DS-12”号于2014年建成，采用DSME 12000型设计，总长780英尺，最大作业水深12000英尺，最大钻井深度40000英尺，可容纳200人。
