云南日报报道：日前，中共云南省委决定：杨政昆同志任中共玉溪市委委员、常委、书记。
杨政昆出生于1975年，曾任江苏省国家安全厅党委书记、厅长，2024年调至云南省工作，任云南省委政法委分管日常工作的副书记，至本次履新。
前任玉溪市委委书记为周建忠。周建忠2025年1月由云南省公安厅党委副书记、常务副厅长调任玉溪市委书记，2025年9月被查，在任仅八个月。
