据彭博社，北达科他州计划于 2026 年推出名为“Roughrider Coin”的稳定币，成为继怀俄明州后第二个发行州级稳定币的美国州份。该项目由美国唯一的州立银行——北达科他银行牵头，与 Fiserv 合作发行，后者将借助 Paxos 和 Circle 的技术平台。该稳定币将完全由美元支持，初期主要用于州内银行和信用合作社间的贷款发放、隔夜拆借和建设融资等金融交易，未来可能拓展至为客户提供稳定币存款账户。
