当地时间10月6日凌晨1点40分左右，日本京都市南区京都八条都酒店突发火灾，消防部门迅速扑灭火情。
据悉，起火点位于酒店二楼客房，移动电源在充电过程中烧毁，房内两名中国籍女性住客闻到异味后迅速报警，火情未造成人员伤亡。
酒店毗邻JR京都站，为10层建筑，事发时楼内上千名住客紧急疏散。警方初步判定移动电源为火源，具体原因仍在调查中。
