10月6日消息，菲律宾公共工程与公路部称，初步调查结果显示，卡加延省阿尔卡拉镇大桥垮塌是由超载导致的。该桥的设计限重为18吨，但当时有3辆超载的卡车在大桥上行驶，每辆卡车重约50吨，大大超出限重。（央视新闻）
