来到老人家，沙发上有一大叠碟片。大多是花鼓戏，一小部分是连续剧。
老人家喜欢看花鼓戏，在那些伊伊呀呀的吟唱里，她能够感受到传统戏曲的文化氛围。
可是，现在大多是电视、电脑、手机，CD、DVD很少用了，虽然有些电脑还装有CD机，但也已经很少使用了。
在时代的快速发展中，传统爱好的空间被进一步压缩，传统戏曲的表演和欣赏，也仿佛成了时代的绝响。
