据《财富》，Coinbase 高管 Jesse Pollak 近期表示，Base 区块链与此前失败的企业链不同，其设计自始至终坚持去中心化理念。Base 作为以太坊二层，基于 OP Stack 搭建，并于今年从 stage 0 过渡至 stage 1 去中心化，代码完全开源，目标是成为类似 Linux 的生态系统。Pollak 称 Coinbase 计划在 Base 上推出代币以对齐激励与去中心化，但暂无具体上线时间表，公司将谨慎推进。
