App是应用程序（Application）的缩写 。App指的是智能手机的第三方应用程序。
App的正确写法需根据语境区分：句首或专有名词（如App Store）首字母大写为App，句中泛指时小写为app，全大写APP为错误写法（全文为大写时除外）。
大小写规则
App（首字母大写）
示例：
用于句首或标题（如"App development is growing rapidly"）。
专有名词（如"App Store""App Annie"）。
app（全小写）
示例：
句中泛指应用程序时（如"This app helps users track fitness"）。
复数形式为apps（如"mobile apps"）。
全大写形式不符合英语缩写规范（全文为大写格式除外）。
App是Application的截断缩写（类似ad之于advertisement），非首字母缩略词，故不应全大写。
苹果、谷歌等官方文档均采用首字母大写或全小写形式。
中文环境中的简称同理。
