IT之家 9 月 26 日消息，微软赛车游戏《极限竞速：地平线 6》将于明年推出，游戏背景首次设定在日本。
根据微软 Xbox 官网介绍，《极限竞速：地平线 6》将于 2026 年发售，首发登陆 Xbox 主机和 PC 平台。
微软表示，鉴于该系列在其他平台上的热度，Playground Games 和 Turn 10 Studios 正合作，在游戏发售之后将《极限竞速：地平线 6》带到 PlayStation 5 平台。
IT之家注意到，微软近年来推行多平台策略，《盗贼之海》《禁闭求生》《极限竞速：地平线 5》《微软模拟飞行 2024》陆续登陆索尼 PS5 平台。也就是说，微软会将前 Xbox 独占作品带到索尼本世代主机上，而最新发售的大作会让 Xbox“独享”一段时间。
