此前中国反兴奋剂中心公布的违规情况中，广东外援吉伦沃特、新疆外援哈雷尔都存在违规行为。
两人涉及的违规物质均是羧基四氢大麻酚，且都放弃了B瓶检测。羧基四氢大麻酚也称为THCA，是四氢大麻酚（THC）的前体物质，主要存在于大麻植物中。
