慈溪首个经济开发区
1992年，市工业投资小区在浒山镇北部设立，1994年更名慈溪经济开发区，当年获批省级经济开发区。2001年，慈溪经济开发区调整至杭州湾新区，2014年杭州湾新区升格为国家级经济技术开发区。2019年，宁波前湾新区设立，杭州湾新区全域划入。
