北京时间2025年9月5日10时34分，我国在西昌卫星发射中心使用长征三号丙运载火箭/远征一号上面级，成功将试验二十九号卫星发射升空，卫星顺利进入预定轨道，发射任务获得圆满成功。该卫星主要用于空间环境探测及相关技术试验。
此次任务是长征系列运载火箭的第592次飞行。
