奥塔门迪表示：“如果阿根廷国家队之后没有正式比赛，那么这场比赛也将是我的本土最后一战。我希望能以这种方式结束国家队生涯，我的家人和支持我的人都非常享受这场比赛。”
值得一提的是，这也是世界杯正赛之前梅西的本土最后一战。
