清华开学，庞众望脱稿演讲！

近日，多名网友发视频称，在清华大学新生开学讲座上，感动中国2024年度人物、清华大学精密仪器系在读博士生庞众望作为优秀学生代表进行发言。

At the Tsinghua University freshman orientation ceremony, Pang Zhongwang, a Touching China Award 2024 honoree and current PhD student in the Department of Precision Instrument at Tsinghua, delivered a speech as an outstanding student representative.

庞众望告诉学弟学妹们，清华足够大，可以满足大家无限的可能和想象。回想8年前，他和新生一样也是怀着激动的心情来到清华大学，面对未知的大学生活，也有一些迷茫和不安。

有位老师告诉他，每位来到清华的学生都是一张白纸，未来的人生需要学生们自己去装点和描绘。这句话使庞众望意识到在清华要直面未知、勇于探索、不断去认识发展自己。

Pang told the incoming students that Tsinghua is large enough to accommodate their boundless possibilities and imaginations. Reflecting on his own experience eight years ago, he shared that he, like them, arrived at Tsinghua with excitement but also some confusion and anxiety about university life.

A teacher once told him that every student coming to Tsinghua is a blank canvas, and it is up to them to decorate and depict their future. This made Pang realize the importance of facing the unknown, embracing exploration, and continuously developing oneself at Tsinghua.

据极目新闻消息，清华大学的大一新生李同学称， 整个发言大约持续了5分钟。之后学校播放了2025年招生宣传片，庞众望在其中亮相。

有新生在社交平台上分享了自己拍摄的视频，并称：“在清华，终于看到了儿时的榜样。”还有新生称：“演讲太励志了，全程脱稿。”

据了解，今年26岁的庞众望，出生于沧州市吴桥县。其父亲因病无法与人交流，母亲下肢残障行动不便。

Pang, now 26, was born in Wuqiao county, Cangzhou city, Hebei province. His father lives with an illness that prevents him from communicating with others, and his mother has lower limb disabilities that limit her mobility.

2017年，庞众望在高考中取得优异成绩，被清华大学精密仪器系录取。2021年，本科毕业后，庞众望继续留在清华大学精密仪器系攻读博士学位。

In 2017, Pang achieved outstanding results in the national college entrance examination and was admitted to Tsinghua University's Department of Precision Instruments. In 2021, after completing his undergraduate studies, he continued pursuing a PhD in the same department.

2025年8月16日，庞众望当选“感动中国2024年度人物”。

8月18日，在接受人民日报专访时，庞众望谈到自己的家庭说道，“跌倒、爬起来，再跌倒、再爬起来，那种韧性也是从小家庭带给我的一个底色。这种底色无论我以后走得多远，都不会褪色。”

对于给学弟学妹们的建议，庞众望说，要利用学校宝贵的资源，与优秀的老师、同学、校友多沟通。一定不要畏惧，一定要争取。

When offering advice to incoming freshman, Pang emphasized utilizing the university's valuable resources and actively engaging with outstanding teachers, classmates, and alumni. "Never be afraid," he said, "and always strive for your goals."
