8月26日，美团在北京举办骑手算法协商共治开放日，在开放日上，美团骑手体验运营负责人表示，众包骑手非常关心的超时罚款，美团将在2025年年底前全面取消。
据悉，2024年12月，美团率先在泉州试点“安准卡”，以遵循超时扣分、准时加分的方式，替代原有的超时罚款。截至8月，已在22个城市试行超时免罚机制。
