据外媒2025年8月19日报道，西澳大利亚州环保部门近日批准在该州最大出口港——黑德兰港（Port Hedland）附近将建设价值40亿澳元（约合人民币186亿元）的热压铁块（HBI）工厂。
该工厂由韩国钢铁巨头浦项制铁（Pohang Iron and Steel Co. Ltd，简称POSCO）投资建设，选址位于黑德兰港西南约10公里处的布达里战略工业区，专门从事皮尔巴拉铁矿石的加工业务，可生产热压块铁（HBI）和铁矿石球团。
