病毒免疫逃逸与疫苗开发研究组招聘启事
【研究组简介】 Introduction
中国科学院上海药物研究所现代疫苗中心专注于重大传染性疾病的人用疫苗、肿瘤疫苗和动物疫苗开发,通过病毒学、免疫学和疫苗学的基础研究,指导新型疫苗的设计与应用。
Geoffrey Smith 院士(英国皇家科学院、德国科学院),国际著名痘病毒研究专家,于 2025 年 2 月正式加入中国科学院上海药物研究所,成为现代疫苗中心首席科学家、病毒免疫逃逸与疫苗开发研究组组长。Smith 院士是国际痘病毒研究权威,对痘病毒家族的生物学机制和疫苗开发进行了深入研究。他率先利用痘苗病毒开发针对流感、疟疾和乙肝等传染病的新型疫苗,同时以痘苗病毒为模式病毒,全面解析了痘病毒的免疫逃逸机制、宿主相互作用及病毒复制策略。
Smith 院士的研究成果发表在
Nature、Science
Cell等国际顶尖学术期刊,并被广泛引用。他曾发现多个痘病毒免疫逃逸和复制的新机制,为病毒学、免疫学和疫苗学研究提供了重要启示。此外,Smith 院士还是病毒学权威教材《费氏病毒学》(Fields of Virology)的撰稿人之一,也是该领域的重要学术奠基人之一。Smith 院士团队将聚焦痘病毒免疫逃逸及新型疫苗开发领域的研究,同时,将与陆泳旭研究员的团队进行深度合作,开展开创性科学研究。

The Vaccine Research Centre at the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, focuses on the development of vaccines for infectious diseases and cancers of humans, and for major infectious diseases of animals. Through fundamental research in virology, immunology, and vaccinology, the centre guides the design and application of novel vaccines.
Professor Geoffrey Smith (Fellow of the Royal Society, UK, and the German Academy of Sciences), serves as the Chief Scientist of the Vaccine Research Centre and the head of the Viral Immune Evasion and Vaccine Development Research Group. As a postdoc, he established the principle of using genetically engineered viruses as new vaccines against a broad range of infectious diseases. Using vaccinia virus as a model, Professor Geoffrey Smith’s lab has conducted in-depth studies on the biological mechanisms of poxvirus replication, host interactions and immune evasion. This information is being applied to develop vacciens of greater safety and potency.
Professor Smith's research findings have been published in international academic journals such as Nature, Science, and Cell, and have been widely cited. He has discovered several new mechanisms of poxvirus immune evasion and replication, providing significant insights for virology, immunology, and vaccinology. Additionally, Professor Smith is one of the contributors to the authoritative virology textbook Fields, Virology and is a key academic founder in the field. Professor Smith leads a research group within the Vaccine Research Centre, Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, that is focused on poxvirus immune evasion and the development of vaccines. His research group will collaborate closely with the team of Dr Lu Yongxu to conduct groundbreaking scientific research.

【招聘岗位】 Job Openings
博士后(编号:GS-P-01):2 人
工作内容:
1. 开展以下领域的科研课题:
(1)筛选新的抗病毒宿主蛋白;
(2)鉴定新的抗病毒机制;
(3)鉴定新的病毒免疫逃逸策略;
(4)构建重组痘病毒载体疫苗。
2. 参与课题组科研项目的合作与研究生指导;
3. 协助课题组科研项目的申请与实施。
应聘条件:
1. 年龄不超出 35 周岁,即将获得或近三年内已获得病毒学、细胞生物学、免疫学或基础医学等相关领域博士学位,并在 SCI 期刊发表过或即将发表第一作者论文;
2. 科学态度严谨,具备独立科研能力和团队合作精神;
3. 具备分子和细胞生物学实验经验;
4. 具备小型动物攻毒实验经验者优先。
副研究员(编号:GS-AP-01):1 人
工作内容:
1. 独立开展痘病毒免疫逃逸机制研究;
2. 负责及参与实验室相关课题的申报与管理;
3. 指导研究生以及博士生的相关课题;
4. 协助研究组长完成其他相关科研工作。
应聘条件:
1. 微生物或免疫学专业博士后经历;
2. 掌握病毒学实验技术和小鼠实验操作,有 P3 等级实验操作经验者优先;
3. 已在本领域内国际主流期刊发表过第一作者论文。
科研助理(编号:GS-RA-01):1 人
工作内容:
1. 管理实验室日常耗材和仪器的购置和维护;
2. 负责组织协调实验室日常的课题研讨以及经费申请材料准备;
3. 开展基础的分子生物学和病毒学相关实验;
4. 协助实验室 PI 与研究所各部门之间的沟通。
应聘条件:
1. 具有微生物学相关本科或硕士学历,病毒学方向优先考虑;
2. 英语听说读写能力较好,有较好的沟通能力;
3. 善于团队合作。
