李正才不幸去世，年仅22岁

8月6日清晨，22岁小伙李正才脑死亡，他的父亲李玉坤强忍着悲痛，做出了一个艰难而温暖的决定：捐献儿子全部有用的器官。

Li Zhengcai, 22, was declared brain dead on Wednesday morning. His father, Li Yukun, despite being overwhelmed with grief, made a difficult yet deeply compassionate decision: to donate all of his son's viable organs.

意外发生在数天前。8月1日，李正才外出旅游，不小心意外溺水。不会游泳的他被人发现溺水后迅速救上了岸，并送到了宜昌市夷陵医院抢救。经急救，他恢复了心跳，但一直处在重度昏迷中。

The tragedy began on Aug 1, when the young man drowned while traveling. He was rescued and rushed to a hospital, where doctors revived him, but remained in a deep coma.

李玉坤说，10年来他独自拉扯两个孩子长大，什么脏活累活都干，才才很乖很孝顺，从小就懂事。

5日下午，听到才才“不行”的消息，李玉坤瘫坐在监护室外掩面痛哭。

思虑再三后，悲恸的李玉坤和大儿子主动向医生提出：倘若孩子真的救不回来，愿意捐出他全部有用的器官。

For the past decade, Li Yukun had raised his two sons alone, describing Zhengcai as dutiful and mature. On Tuesday, after learning his son's condition had worsened, Li and his oldest son decided that if Zhengcai could not be saved, they would donate all of his usable organs.

医生获取器官前向捐献者遗体默哀致敬

6日清晨，医生判定李正才脑死亡。李玉坤强忍着悲痛，做出了一个艰难而温暖的决定：捐献儿子全部有用的器官。

“如果儿子的器官能帮助到别人，他短暂的一生就有了意义，我们的心里也有了念想，总觉得他还活在这个世上。”

李玉坤向医生提出，想要留下儿子的眼角膜，“我家才才爱美，我们想让他帅气地离开。留下这双眼睛，也方便他找到回家的路。”

On Wednesday morning, Zhengcai was formally pronounced brain dead, and his father reaffirmed the decision. "If his organs can help others, his short life will have meaning," Li said.

Li also asked to keep his son's corneas. "Zhengcai loved looking good, and we want him to leave handsome — and find his way home," he explained.

8月6日晚上8时，记者了解到，所有移植手术均顺利完成，5人因此重获新生。

By 8 pm that evening, all transplant surgeries had been completed successfully, giving five patients a second chance at life thanks to Li Zhengcai's final gift.
