本田公司8月6日透露，作为电动化战略调整措施的一环，已中止纯电动大型SUV的开发。此举是为应对以美国为中心的纯电动车全球需求回落。
本田此前于5月宣布，到2030年度为止的纯电动车投资计划从10万亿日元（约合人民币4871亿元）缩小至7万亿日元。
