据广西气象局8月5日消息，过去24小时，广西被雨水笼罩，部分地区出现大雨到暴雨，局地出现大暴雨到特大暴雨。据统计，5日16时至6日16时，北海市合浦县乌家镇出现特大暴雨（253.7毫米），全区有8个市的19个县（区）出现大暴雨，有13个市的58个县（区）出现暴雨；最大小时雨强出现在防城港市港口区，达95.6毫米（6日00-01时）。
