总台记者当地时间8月5日获悉，孟加拉国临时政府首席顾问尤努斯表示，将于2026年2月举行大选。
2024年8月，孟加拉国发生全国性抗议活动，要求总理谢赫·哈西娜及其政府辞职；5日，哈西娜辞职；6日，国民议会解散；8日，尤努斯宣誓就任孟加拉国临时政府首席顾问。
