北京时间8月4日，江苏新闻发布了一段8月2日晚南通队3-0战胜镇江队的比赛视频，并配文“南通队守门员又现闲庭信步：队友太强，没机会发挥”。
由于进攻威胁较小，南通队守门员赵东旭本场比赛多次上演“闲庭信步”，并前压到中场附近。比赛第82分钟，赵东旭被替换下场。赛后，赵东旭表示，“每场要保持注意力集中，球队取胜是因为队友们太棒，自己并没有做什么。”
