7月29日，欧盟委员会官网显示，在环球音乐集团(Universal Music Group)提出延期申请后，欧盟反垄断监管机构已将其以7.75亿美元收购Downtown Music的交易审查截止日期延长至12月10日。
此次交易最初于去年12月宣布，原设定的审查截止日期为11月26日。作为欧盟反垄断监管部门，欧盟委员会正在评估这笔交易可能对音乐版权市场产生的影响。
