7月27日，中国羽毛球公开赛男单决赛，石宇奇2-1（14-21、21-14、21-15）逆转战胜王正行，收获交手2连胜，获得本次男单冠军，收获本赛季第4冠，也是职业生涯第15个羽联巡回赛男单冠军。
石宇奇同时集齐目前4站Super1000赛事的冠军，这是他赛季第4冠，也是赛季第3个S1000冠军，继去年后再次实现高级别巡回赛背靠背夺冠。
