杜金城写道：“特雷沃-汤普森已经自宣加盟青岛男篮，第四外援不出意外会是CBA‘老熟人’约瑟夫-杨，早早凑齐四外援。”
上赛季，汤普森代表深圳队出战34场，场均得到15.4分10.9板1.4助1.9帽。约瑟夫-杨上赛季效力于福建，出战40场，场均23.7分2.9板4.9助1.6断。
此前，青岛已经与米奇和韦瑟斯庞完成续约。
