今年第6号台风“韦帕”的中心已于7月20日下午5点50分前后在广东省台山市沿海登陆，登陆时中心附近最大风力12级（33米/秒），中心最低气压为975百帕。
登陆后，“韦帕”由台风级减弱为强热带风暴级。下午6点钟其中心位于广东省台山市境内，中心附近最大风力11级（30米/秒），中心最低气压为980百帕。（央视新闻）
