18日，埃隆·马斯克在社交平台X宣布，“明天Grok发布‘AI男友’Valentine预告视频。情人节（直译：Valentine的日子）在一周内到来。他会让你心跳加速。”
17日，马斯克公布了关于Valentine的信息：该“AI男友”以海因莱因的小说《异乡异客》中的主人公命名。
他还表示，人工智能名称“Grok”就是在这本小说中诞生的。
此前，Grok推出了一个名为Ani的“AI女友”。
