当地时间15日，芬兰罗瓦涅米市，气温升至30摄氏度。罗瓦涅米的知名景点，北极圈内的“圣诞老人村”，温度计显示的气温读数也超过了30摄氏度。
视频画面显示，当地很多人都已经光膀子上街，居民表示：“我和朋友在欧洲南部度假，当时天气很热，我们想回到芬兰后就会凉爽起来，但事实并非如此，现在的天气和南欧差不多一样了。”
