7月17日，力拓在2025年第二季度生产业绩中披露，西芒杜项目首船铁矿石的发运时间提前至2025年11月前后，预计2025年的发运量将在50-100万吨之间（来自SimFer持有的3号和4号区块）。此外，力拓表示，2025年产量指导目标保持不变，皮尔巴拉铁矿石的发运量预计仍将处于全年指导目标的较低水平，铝土矿产量预计将处于全年指导目标的较高水平，铜产量预计将达到全年指导目标的较高水平。
