据日本福冈管区气象台统计，鹿儿岛县吐噶喇列岛近海自6月21日到7月14日上午8时，震度达到1级以上的地震共发生2006次。
气象台表示，虽然每天地震次数有所不同，但不能说数量明显减少，并呼吁今后一段时间仍需注意可能发生震度6弱左右的地震。（央视新闻）
