北京时间7月2日，据记者Shams Charania报道，消息人士透露，洛杉矶快船将裁掉中锋德鲁-尤班克斯（下赛季薪资为475万美元），尤班克斯计划在渡过澄清期后与萨克拉门托国王队签下一份为期一年的合同，这将为国王队增加前场深度。
上赛季，德鲁-尤班克斯被爵士交易至快船，他共代表快船出战24场比赛，在场均7.4分钟的出场时间里，可以得到2.7分2.4篮板的数据。
