斯基拉写道：“佛罗伦萨已将他们关于尼科洛·扎尼奥洛的决定告知加拉塔萨雷。佛罗伦萨不会触发买断条款（1500万欧元）。因此，即使扎尼奥洛可能再次离开，他仍将重返加拉塔萨雷。”
现年25岁的扎尼奥洛年少成名，但最近几年的发展逐步下滑。24/25赛季，扎尼奥洛在意甲联赛（代表佛罗伦萨、亚特兰大）出场14次，打入2球送出2次助攻。
