6月10日，小鹏汽车董事长、CEO何小鹏在“小鹏G7全球首秀直播”发布会上称：“相信未来自动驾驶可以‘让我们在即使喝了酒后，也可以安全把我们带回家’。” 何小鹏认为，在过去几年时间，L2级智能辅助驾驶快速前进，“今天会到达一个全新转折点”。他还称，小鹏G7是全球首款L3级算力的AI汽车。
