据重庆卫健委消息，2025年5月，重庆市共报告法定传染病发病20391例，较上月（18921例）上升7.77%，较去年同期（34991例）下降41.73%；死亡142例（艾滋病135例、肺结核6例、丙肝1例），较上月（161例）下降11.80%，较去年同期（123例）上升15.45%。
2025年5月，无甲类传染病报告。
2025年5月，乙类传染病共报告发病10362例，较上月（7579例）上升36.72%，较去年同期（14823）下降30.10%；死亡142例，较上月（161例）下降11.80%，较去年同期（123例）上升15.45%；报告发病数居前3位的病种依次为新型冠状病毒感染、乙肝、梅毒。
2025年5月，丙类传染病共报告发病10029例，较上月（11342例）下降11.58%，较去年同期（20168例）下降50.27%；本月无死亡。报告发病数居前3位的病种依次为其他感染性腹泻、手足口病、流行性感冒。
