米其林当地时间6月9日宣布，为适应乘用车和轻型卡车轮胎市场的变化，该公司将于今年年底关闭墨西哥克雷塔罗州工厂。
米其林表示，乘用车和轻型卡车的市场趋势是轮胎尺寸更大，而克雷塔罗工厂缺乏生产此类轮胎的基础设施。米其林称，其区域分部将继续在克雷塔罗办公室办公，瓜纳华托州莱昂工厂将继续运营。
