由TGA创始人夏日游戏节Geoff Keighley主办的夏日游戏节（Summer game fest 2025）将于6月7日凌晨5点正式开启，届时预计会有大量新作情报和宣传片将会公布。
今天早上小岛工作室官宣，知名制作人小岛秀夫将作为特邀嘉宾出席本次夏日游戏节！值得一提的是，官方还强调了现场演示环节的开启时间，似乎在暗示届时《死亡搁浅2》会有新片发布！
值得一提的是，6月9日小岛秀夫还将与Geoff Keighley一起主持《死亡搁浅2》现场首映活动，届时将会带来本作的现场演示。
