当地时间6月3日，科技巨头Meta与美国最大的核电站所有者Constellation Energy达成一项为期20年的协议，旨在满足人工智能热潮催生的电力需求。
根据发布的声明，从2027年6月开始，Meta将从Constellation位于伊利诺伊州的克林顿清洁能源中心购买大约1.1吉瓦的电力，这是该中心一座核反应堆的全部发电量。与Constellation的交易标志着Meta首次正式进军核能领域。去年12月，该公司发布了一份寻找核能开发商合作伙伴的建议书，称他们希望在美国增加1至4吉瓦的新核能发电能力。
