厄瓜多尔能源部当地时间5月26日证实，该国埃斯梅拉达斯炼油厂发生火灾，工作人员现已撤离。据悉，埃斯梅拉达斯炼油厂是厄瓜多尔最大的炼油厂。
厄瓜多尔能源部表示，当天，该炼油厂的一个油箱起火，目前情况已得到控制。厄瓜多尔国家应急行动委员会（COE）已启动应急机制。（总台记者 邓雪梅）
