5月25日，马来西亚羽毛球大师赛男单决赛，李诗沣2-0（21-11、21-9）战胜斯里坎特，取得双方交手4连胜并获得男单冠军，也是职业生涯第5个羽联巡回赛男单冠军。
李诗沣耗时36分钟夺得赛季首冠，他也成为2009年马来西亚大师赛创办以来，首位在该项赛事夺冠的国羽男单选手。
