当地时间5月15日，美国国务卿鲁比奥表示，所有北约成员国将在6月举行的北约峰会上同意未来十年国防支出占GDP比重5%的目标。
鲁比奥说：“北约峰会将在6周后举办，届时几乎所有北约成员国的国防支出都将达到或超过2%，其中许多成员国的国防支出将超过4%，所有成员国都将就未来十年达到5%的目标达成一致。”（央视新闻）
